EAST UNION TOWNSHIP GREEN MOUNTAIN ROAD VEHICLE FIRE 5-11-2010 PICTURES BY COALREGIONFIRE
EAST UNION TOWNSHIP (SCHUYLKILL COUNTY), PA: On May 11th the East Union Township Fire Department (Sheppton and Brandonville Fire Companies) and Shenandoah Ambulance were dispatched to a vehicle fire involving a minivan. The fire was reported to be on Green Mountain Road, just north of Brandonville in East Union Township.
Shenandoah Medic 64 was on scene first and found a fully involved minivan on the side of the road. Sheppton Engine 9-10 arrived on scene and advance a hose line to extinguish the fire.
Sheppton engine crew remained on the scene to overhaul and investigate the fire. The van was destroyed and no injuries to fire fighters were reported.
