FOSTER TOWNSHIP MM114 SOUTH I 81 ACCIDENT 3-20-2016
FOSTER TOWNSHIP(SCHUYLKILL COUNTY), PA. - On March 20, 2016 at 14:20 p.m. the Goodwill-Frackville Fire Company and Minersville Ambulance were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. The accident was reported to a vehicle overturned and just south of the Minersville exit of Interstate 81 at mile maker 114.
Engine 43-10 arrived on scene and found Minersville Ambulance 52 with the victim out of the overturned vehicle. Engine 43-10 crew examined the vehicle for fluid leaks and provided traffic control. Minersville ambulance evaluated the driver for injuries. State Police believe the accident was caused when the driver fell asleep. The fire fighters remained on the scene until the vehicle was removed by the towing company.
